Dawson was born on May 9 1979. She is an American producer, actress and
director. In 1995 she made her feature film debut with the independent drama
Kids. The roles she played in subsequent films include He Got Game (1998),
Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Men in Black II (2002), Rent (2005), Sin City
(2005), Clerks II (2006), Death Proof (2007), Seven Pounds (2008), Percy
Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Unstoppable (2010),
Zookeeper (2011), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014) and Zombieland: Double Tap
(2019). Dawson has voiced characters for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel
and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. She has also been nominated for the Critics Choice
Movie Award for the Best actress in a Comedy for Top Five (2014), Trance
(2013), Top Five (2014), and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson was born in
New York City on May 9th, 1979. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban
and Puerto Rican ancestry. Rosario was 16 years old at Rosario's birth. Isabel
never married Patrick C. Harris as her father in law. Rosario's mom, Greg
Dawson, was an engineer when she was just one year old. Dawson is four years
younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson's half-brother. Dawson is also well-known for
her various roles in comic book adaptions. In the year 2020, she played Ahsoka
Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian, and is set to star in the coming
Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She will also be a regular part in the Dwayne
Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
