Jillian Noel Hennessy

 Jillian Noel Hennessy was born on November 25 on the 25th of November, 1968. She is a Canadian actor, singer and musician. Her most notable role is on American television's Law & Order where she was the prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three seasons and Crossing Jordan for six. She was also acting in movies like RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted as well as independent films like Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was born and was raised in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy her father was an executive in sales and marketing. He was a frequent traveler which resulted in numerous family moves. Maxine her secretary mother, left the family in 1982. Eleanor, Eleanor's paternal grandmother, cared for her daughter in Kitchener. John Paul Hennessy Jr. has a younger brother as well as Jacqueline, a twin sister. Jacqueline is a journalist and host on a Canadian TV program. Hennessy is a mixture of Irish, French French, Swedish and Italian origins on her father's side, and mostly Ukrainian Roma on the mother's. After graduation from Grand River Collegiate Institute (both in Kitchener) She was a student at Stanley Park Senior Public School. She also took part in the Toronto subway. Hennessy as well as her sister, and their first acting role was as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. The actress was nominated for the role of Dana Scully on The X-Files according to Gillian Anderson, the actress who ultimately got the role.She was in Broadway in the musical Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story in 1990.In 1993, she starred in the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3.In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy as an assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid in the NBC crime drama Law & Order. The role ran for three seasons. The show ended following the year 1996.
